TRADING
WHAT DOES INTERNATIONAL TRADE MEAN IN THE CONTEXT OF AN E-1 VISA?

To prove qualification for an E-1 visa to the U.S., an applicant must show that:

ACTIVE ACTIVITY

He is active in trade activities (buying/selling goods or services) between the U.S. and his home country. Evidence can be found in negotiated contracts with companies in the US.

PERMANENT BASIS

The Company trades on an ongoing basis, i.e. the business is not a one-off purchase or sale of goods or services.

INTERACTION

The bulk of purchases or sales of goods or services (minimum 50%) occur between the U.S. and the applicant's country.

LIMITATIONS
WHAT LIMITATIONS
Does this visa have?

The nonimmigrant E-1 business visa to the United States is issued for a period of 3 months to 5 years (depending on the applicant's citizenship), after which the visa must be renewed.

Evidence
What are the requirements
for obtaining this visa?

You can obtain an E-1 visa if you meet THREE requirements:

1.

The applicant is a citizen of a country that has entered into a treaty of commerce and navigation with the United States. This list includes over 60 countries, including:

AUSTRIA
GERMANY
SWITZERLAND
GREECE
ISRAEL
LATVIA
KOSOVO
ESTONIA
FINLAND
SLOVENIA
Montenegro
MACEDONIA
POLAND
TURKEY

Important! Many countries do not have this type of treaty with the United States. In such cases, citizens can acquire citizenship from a treaty country (like Grenada or Turkey), which then makes them eligible for a U.S. E-1 visa.

2.

The majority share of the company (minimum 50%) is owned by a citizen of the country with which the trade relations will be conducted and with which an international agreement on E-1 visa has been concluded.

3.

The applicant must certify that they will return to their home country if the business closes in the United States.

Obtaining an EB-2 NIW immigrant visa

I applied to Artem's agency to obtain an EB-2 NIW immigrant visa. I applied and have never regretted it. From the very beginning of our communication Artem and his team made the best impression on me. At all stages of the case preparation they provided maximum assistance in information gathering, collection and preparation of letters, advice, and everything in general. All communication was as open, friendly and prompt as possible.

I also got the impression that what they were doing was as interesting to them as possible. It is interesting to develop, interesting to solve non-standard problems, interesting to learn something new. With this approach, the potential of these guys is almost limitless, they have a great future, you can see it and it is very encouraging. I am very glad that I was lucky to find this agency.

Yes, I forgot to say, the result of the case submission was approval, and from the first time.

I wish the whole agency team and Artem personally to conquer new heights, success and prosperity, you are great guys!

I can only recommend Susanne as a lawyer. She provided us with advice and support and assisted us in establishing our business in Florida. Susanne did not just offer simple consultations but worked with us to develop solutions and established the necessary contacts for our business.

Susanne also speaks German, which was particularly helpful for us in legal matters.

I enjoyed working with Susanne, and this is underscored by the fact that we are still working with her.

Leone Zhgun, P.A. was a true support for us in the process of obtaining the E2 Visa. Not only did they handle the documentary preparation and meticulous compilation of necessary documents, but their advice was also extremely professional. The entire team, led by Artem, assisted us with all our questions, and if we didn't understand something, Susanne was able to translate from English to German. We were also well-prepared for the upcoming interview at the embassy. I can only recommend the firm and look forward to continuing our collaboration.

What are the main U.S. business visas?

The main types of business visas are the EB-5, E-2, E-1, L-1, and EB-1C visas. Each of these visas allows you to open and conduct business in the U.S., but each of these visas has different requirements.

Which visas allow you to bring your family with you?

All principal investment and business visas (EB-5, E-2, E-1, L-1, EB-1C visas) allow the inclusion of family (spouse and children under 21) in the same petition as the principal petitioner.
