Susanne Leone published her article "U.S. Compliance for German SMEs in 2021" in the online corporate compliance journal (Compliance Elliance Journal), a collaboration between the University of Miami and the University of Leipzig, Germany. The article focuses on U.S. compliance for German SMEs operating in the United States. The article discusses the US market requirements for companies in 2021, the US compliance system and the future of CMS for globally operating SMEs. It also explains new US legislation such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and current US regulations in connection with COVID that German companies should be aware of.
