The Committee of Europe hosts a delegation from the Paris Bar in Miami

On November 1, 2022, the Europe Committee of the International Division of the Florida Bar, chaired by Susanne Leone, hosted a delegation from Paris, France, consisting of Julie Couturier, President of the Paris Bar, Thierry Aballea, Co-Secretary of the International Commission of the Paris Bar, Christian Bourgerol, Counselor to the President and Head of the International Relations Department, and Alexis Wehrle, Member of the Board of the Paris Bar, in Miami.

The purpose of this reception was to celebrate the renewal and expansion of the relationship between the Paris Bar and the International Division of the Florida Bar, to exchange ideas and views on various legal issues and to sign a cooperation agreement between the chambers. The cooperation agreement was signed in English and French. During the reception, delegates and members of the South Florida legal community made valuable connections with the French delegation and discussed ideas for future cooperation between the organizations.

The President of the International Division of the Florida Bar, the Chair of the European Committee on the International Division and the President of the Paris Bar gave welcoming remarks and expressed their joy at the revitalized relationship between the International Division of the Florida Bar and the Paris Bar, and encouraged the organization of similar events in the future and the development of other forms of cooperation.
