On November 1, 2022, the Europe Committee of The Florida Bar ILS, chaired by Susanne Leone, hosted a delegation from Paris, France consisting of the president of the Paris Bar, Julie Couturier, the co-secretary of the International Commission of the Paris Bar, Thierry Aballea, the Advisor to the President and Head of the Department of International Relations, Christian Burgerolle, and the Paris Bar Council member Alexis Werl in Miami. 

The purpose of this reception was to celebrate the renewal and expansion of the relationship between the Paris Bar and the ILS, exchange insights and ideas on various legal matter, and sign a bar cooperation agreement. The bar cooperation agreement was signed in English and French. At the reception delegates and members of the South Florida legal community made meaningful networking connections with the French delegation and discussed ideas for future collaborations between the organizations.   

The Chair of the ILS, the Chair of the Europe Committee for the ILS, and the president of the Paris Bar made remarks and expressed their excitement with the newly revived relationship between the ILS and the Paris Bar, and called for organizing similar events in the future and other forms of collaboration.
