E-2 Visa - Treaty Investor Visa Application, Eligibility and Requirements
The E-2 visa is a Treaty Trader and Investor Visa for the United States. It is a US non-immigrant visa category, and it is issued for individual investors or investing companies from countries that have a treaty with the United States. The investment can be in any industry or business such as tourism, IT, marketing, etc.
To qualify for an E-2 investor visa, applicants must “develop and direct operations of an enterprise in which he or she has invested or is actively in the process of investing a substantial amount of capital.” As a foreign citizen, you may be issued E-2 nonimmigrant visas if you meet all of the certain requirements.
Treaty investors visa:
- An individual may obtain an E-2 Treaty investors visa to develop and direct the operations of an enterprise in which you have invested a substantial amount of capital.
